The Fund for Catholic University approached us with a challenge: "How can we reach every student, parent, and alumnus and encourage them to donate on Founders Day?"
Founders Day is an annual 24 hour day of giving, the most important fundraising day for Catholic University.
With a gorgeous and elaborate watercolor design, we delivered two animated pieces. The first was a short teaser released a week before Founders Day, informing their audience to mark their calendars. The second was the main video, which was featured in email newsletters, social media, and played on TVs throughout campus to celebrate the event.
The impact? Over $500,000 raised to bridge the gap between what students pay for an education and the actual cost of each student’s Catholic University education. A more than 50x return on investment for the video project.
